5–10 day course
Mantra Sadhana
Mantra in its three voices — aloud, mental and silent — and the practices that carry it: writing, walking, and the geometry that belongs to each sound.
The forms of the practice
Finding the mantra that is yours
A mantra can be chanted aloud as Vaikhari, held mentally as Manasic, or moved to silence as Upanshu. Each does something different, and most practitioners find one of them is theirs. The course works through all three so you can tell which.
Alongside them come Likhit Jap, the writing and drawing of a mantra, and Chankramanam, walking with it. Each mantra also has its yantra, the geometric shape that carries the same power in a drawn form.
- Vaikhari aloud, Manasic mentally, Upanshu silently
- Likhit Jap, writing and drawing the mantra
- Chankramanam, walking with mantra
- The yantras belonging to each sound
