Annual Anti-Rabies and Sterilization Camp
Free anti-rabies vaccination and sterilisation for community dogs and cats. Bring your dog or cat.
In partnership with Mission Rabies and WVS India
The camp
Every year in the month of May, the Shankar Prasad Foundation hosts an Anti-Rabies Vaccination and Sterilization Camp for community dogs, a vital initiative in partnership with Mission Rabies and WVS India.
Sterilising a stray through a local NGO costs about 1,000 rupees per animal.
Vaccination
- Rabies is preventable. Vaccinated dogs protect the village.
- Vaccination protects people as well as animals.
Sterilisation
- Sterilisation reduces the stray population humanely.
- Sterilised dogs and cats are calmer and healthier.
- Venue: Shankar Prasad Foundation, Bankikodla (Muddu Play School). Enquiries and booking: +91 80953 29129.
Our thanks to Mission Rabies, WVS India and every volunteer who makes the camp possible.
Volunteering
