The small print
Short and plain: a ten per cent deposit reserves your bed, the rest is paid when you arrive, and the deposit is not returned if you cancel.
Send the booking form on this website, or write to us, and we will confirm by email or WhatsApp, usually the same day. A reservation is held once the deposit reaches us.
The deposit is ten per cent of the estimated total for your stay. The balance is paid on arrival.
The deposit is not refundable. Nothing further is owed, you simply do not pay the balance.
Tell us as early as you can, by email or WhatsApp, so the bed can go to somebody else. If your plans move rather than end, write to us: dates can usually be shifted.
It is rare, but if the ashram has to cancel your stay we return everything you have paid us, deposit included.
Where a course or retreat is booked together with your stay, the same terms apply to it: ten per cent to reserve a place, the balance on arrival, and the deposit is not returned if you cancel.
Please tell us your arrival time in advance, the ashram keeps a daily schedule and somebody needs to be free to receive you. Foreign guests should carry their passport; we are required to record it and file Form C within twenty-four hours of arrival.
