INTRODUCTION TO ASANA AND PRANAMAYA CLASS:
Daily, Monday – Friday, 6:30am, free. The morning is an ideal time to connect with the body and breath, and calm your mind through asana. If you are staying at the ashram, you may use this time for private practice on our new covered, open air roof-top yoga shala, which overlooks our lush garden!
HATHA YOGAS:
(5-10 day courses)
ASANA, PRANAYAMA, MUDRA, BANDHA SADHANA:
Beginners, Intermediate & Advanced Level Sadhanas (spiritual practice) that can be continued every day on your own, including a balanced range of all practices systematically and fully explained and practiced so that you can imbibe fully.
PRANAYAMAS:
Energy breathing practices to cleanse, balance and increase your energies for daily life, stress management and spiritual evolution, including in-depth practice and theory.
ADVANCED PRANAYAMAS:
For those who are already practicing and want to go further.
SHATKARMAS:
(cleansing practices done with 9% saline water) – (single sessions)
Laghoo Shankaprakshalana – an intestinal wash that cleanses the entire pranic energy body and alimentary canal, purifies the blood & prepares the body for deep sadhana. It also offers significant therapy benefits, helping with issues such as constipation, gas, excess weight, diabetes, joint pains, and drug rehabilitation. The process leaves you feeling light, clear and purified.
Kunjal Kriya – an upper stomach wash that stimulates an upward rush of energy upwards, clearing energy blocks from the chakras, and releasing the emotional and psychic blockages. It helps relieve breathing problems, acidity, bile imbalance, allergies, nasal congestion, sinusitis, headache, migraine and depression.
Jala Neti – a nasal wash that cleanses and stimulates ajna chakra (third eye), clears the nasal passages and sinuses, and help relieves allergies, coughs & colds, sinusitis, ear, and other nose & throat problems.
GENTLE YOGA:
For those who want to go deeper into the subtle levels and develop awareness.
YOGA CHALLENGE:
An Intermediate level daily sadhana practice that includes Surya Namaskara and a balanced set of practices to harmonize and awaken the chakras, supporting overall health and well-being.
EXTRA YOGA CHALLENGE:
For those who are more flexible and like to do a workout.
HIGHER YOGAS:
(Courses are 5-10 days)
MUDRAS & BANDHAS:
Psychic locks and attitude links of body, hands and face to awaken and redirect our pranic energies for health and spiritual practice (sadhana).
NAADA YOGA:
The yoga of sound – singing through the chakras, listening to the deep silence, and sourcing the deep vibration.
PRANA VIDYA:
A Higher Yoga for purifying, balancing and raising the pranic energies, for self purification, energizing and self-healing
PRATIPAKSHA BHAAVANA – ATTITUDINAL YOGA:
Becoming aware of and empowering our attitudes, with ancient techniques from Patanjali’s Yoga Sutras; and using them to become happier and more loving individuals.
YOGA MEDITATION FOR HAPPINESS:
How and what yoga meditations to become happier and more fulfilled.
PANCHA MAHA BHUTA MEDITATION:
Identifying with the individual tattwas or elements and connecting with their cosmic counterparts. Feeling the Oneness of Creation.
CHAKRA SADHANA:
Purifying, balancing and awakening your chakras and nadis and incorporating this into your daily practice.
KRIYA YOGA PREPARATION:
Familiarize yourself with the techniques in preparation for Kriya Yoga, the BSY method of Kundalini Raising.
KUNDALINI YOGA:
Practices to purify, balance and awaken the chakras and nadis to further your evolution through ancient tantric techniques.
