Is there a deposit?

For a stay, a ten per cent deposit reserves your bed and the rest is paid when you arrive. Where a course is booked together with your stay, the same terms apply. The deposit is not returned if you cancel. Cancellation policy.

What does a stay include?

Your room, three vegetarian meals a day, the morning and evening mantra chanting and meditation, and satsang and kirtan with Swamiji. Guests give about an hour of karma yoga a day.

How do I get there?

We are in Bankikodla village, 5 km from Gokarna. Goa's Dabolim airport is about 3 hours by taxi; Gokarna Road station is 20 minutes by auto. Send us your train or flight details and we will have a taxi waiting. Full directions.

Do I need experience?

Most courses need none, only a receptive attitude. A few build on another course first; the course's own page says so.

I live outside India. What do I bring?

Your passport and visa. We are required to record them and file Form C within 24 hours of your arrival.

What should I wear?

Loose, modest, comfortable clothes that cover chest, shoulders and knees. A kurta with pyjama pants suits ashram life.

Why do you ask about health?

So the teacher can adapt the practices for you. Only the office and your teacher see these answers, and you can ask us to delete them at any time. Privacy.
