5–10 day course
Chidakasha Dharana
The inner mind screen, the space behind the closed eyes where images arrive. This course explores it, and then puts what is found there onto paper.
Meditation, then expression
What the inner screen shows you
Chidakasha is the space of consciousness you look into when the eyes close. Most people pass through it without noticing. Held steadily, it begins to show colour, form and image, and those images are your own — not something taught to you.
The second half of the practice is to actualise what appears, through artistic expression. You do not need to be able to draw. The making is part of the meditation, not a performance afterwards.
- Steadying attention on the inner mind screen
- Working with what arises, rather than imagining
- Expression through drawing, colour and form
- No artistic training expected
