Introduction: Come to our little piece of paradise, and join our amazing Ayurveda retreat combined with Hatha Yoga and Yoga Nidra. It is about knowing yourself from an Ayurvedic perspective and taking conscious care of yourself. The retreat includes a personal Ayurvedic consultation to identify your doshas, daily checks, 2 Ayurvedic treatments per week (massages), and daily Ayurveda theory class. Treatments will be tailor-made and focus on detox, stress management and self care. You will also learn and practice Hatha Yoga as taught in the Satyananda Bihar Tradition, practice daily asanas, pranayama, chanting & meditation, and experience living a spiritual life. The program is designed to explore your deeper consciousness.
The ashram is not a resort, not a guest house; it is an ashram where people live simply on an organic farm with a Play School. Our ashram holds an open, loving atmosphere of diverse individuals who function much like a spiritual family. We eat, chant, meditate, sing, learn, work, and play together.
Itinerary: The retreat schedule includes daily theory classes of Ayurvedic principles (Mon-Fri), Ayurvedic treatments, Ayurvedic consultation, Yoga Nidra, Hatha Yoga, Mantra chanting and meditation. Our program assists you in establishing a personalized routine of health and wellness so as to create a significant life change. The Ayurvedic treatments will be tailor-made while the Yoga is designed to help you reconnect with yourself. During your stay, you will take part in daily classes, suitable for all levels, and practice asanas linked with the breath to revitalize the body, mind, and spirit. Each morning flow will leave you energized for the whole day, while the afternoon Yoga Nidra helps you to explore your deeper consciousness, release deep-seated tensions, and tap in to the higher energy.
AYURVEDA – Ayurveda, “Mother of All Healing”, is a holistic healing science which originated in India more than 5000 years ago from the ancient Vedic culture. The daily Ayurveda theory class will enable you to learn the basics principles of Ayurveda, with emphasis on prevention and on encouraging maintenance of good health through close attention to balance in one’s life (specific lifestyle, nutritional guidelines, right thinking etc.):
– The Doshas and determining your own constitution
YOGA NIDRA – (Psychic Sleep Meditation – yogic dreaming) – the hallmark of Satyananda Bihar Yoga and the most popular and enjoyable of the “Meditation from the Tantras”. It is a lying down relaxation meditation which systematically takes you from the world of outer sounds, step by step, through body, breath and mind to your deep subconscious to release negativity, tap into creativity and positivity, and to explore your deeper consciousness … ultimately connecting to your Higher Consciousness.
ASANA & PRANAYAMA Sadhana session: The morning is an ideal time to connect with the body and breath, and freshen your mind through asana. Asanas for fitness strength and flexibility, suitable for beginners. Pranayamas to balance, energise and focus. You will get a daily practice, adapted to your needs, that you can continue by yourself at home.
5:45 am: Rise and Shine Bell
Silence is observed from 9pm to 9am next day.
